Long White Cloud is an independent Māori-owned television and content production company based in Rotorua, New Zealand.
Our vision is to produce leading Māori content for both local and international audiences showcasing everything amazing that our culture, language and worldview has to offer.
Aotearoa is the original name for New Zealand. When our Māori ancestor, Kupe first discovered the North Island, there were long white clouds settled over the land.
It was then, he and his wife Kuramarotini named their new homelands, Aotearoa meaning, land of the long white cloud.
